Aurora alerts, reports & forecasts: your professional Northern Lights hunter
Stop missing the Northern Lights (...or Southern Lights)! Aurora Forecast by Aurora Labs is your all-in-one tool, designed by a professional guide in the Arctic to give you the best possible chance of witnessing the magic of the Aurora, no matter where you are.
My app translates complex scientific data into a simple, at-a-glance dashboard, telling you whether now is a good time to go hunting. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced chaser, you'll find all the data you need.
Live Push Notifications: Get alerts for your location! Receive notifications for community-submitted Aurora sightings, when a geomagnetic storm is in progress, or when viewing conditions become optimal after dark.
Real-Time Reports Map: See what others are seeing right now. The live map shows anonymized "YES" and "NO" reports from a community of Aurora hunters near you. Add your own report to help others!
At-a-Glance Dashboard: A simple, color-coded interface shows you the most critical aurora and weather conditions in seconds. No scientific knowledge needed! Now featuring also the NOAA color legend!
In-Depth Forecasts: For advanced users, dive deep with 24-hour, 3-day, and 27-day Kp forecasts, plus historical graphs for IMF Bz, solar wind speed, and density.
Night mode: Replaces the interface with a red and black theme to preserve night vision.
All the Data You Need: Live Kp, Bz, Bt, Speed, and Density values, plus cloud cover forecasts, sun/moon schedules, and more.
